When booking a full day Flats and Backcountry trip because of the vast area we fish, we might travel 1 hour or more into the Everglades for the best opportunities. Therefore we typically go past the standard 8 hour day most guides fish so that we get the full days worth of actual fishing time. For our fly anglers we provide high quality gear including G-loomis rods, Tibor reels, and Cortland lines. We also have two other skiffs, a 16’ Hells Bay Whipray and a custom built ultra light skiff. Both of these skiffs allow us to access areas that are unavailable to most larger skiffs due to their draft and size.

Our Conch27 takes guests offshore and to the reef for comparatively less cost than larger vessels. Attached to the Conch27 we have a Gulf of Mexico federal charter boat permit, which is the license required for taking guests fishing in federal waters (9 miles out). There are only 1200 of these licenses available for the entire Gulf coast and less than 10 registered to Islamorada Captains.
